MEMBERSHIP INITIATION
Any “free man of good repute” whose life and work is based on the principles of humanity and tolerance can become a freemason, on his own initiative. The basic predisposition is that the candidate lives in stable conditions and is independent, whereby social status and property status do not play a key role. Anyone who is only looking for a solution to their financial, business or social problems and hopes for shortcuts in their career has no place in Freemasonry. The goal of Freemasonry is to make good people better.
