The Grand Lodge in Bosnia and Herzegovina solemnly marked the 20th anniversary of its foundation. Twenty years have passed since three true and complete Lodges (Lux Bosniae, Ivo Andrić and Veritas) with the help of Brethren from Austria and Slovenia founded the Grand Lodge in Bosnia and Herzegovina in an atmosphere of brotherhood, unity and dignity. The celebration of this jubilee gathered over 250 Freemasons. The celebration was attended by Brothers from Lodges who work under the protection of the GL in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the participation of 15 high delegations of the GL’s from abroad.
During the ceremonial ritual work, the fundamental values of Freemasonry were highlighted, and special emphasis was placed on gratitude to the founders and all those who have, over the years, woven their work, energy and vision into the development of the Grand Lodge in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This event was an opportunity to recall the rich history of our Brotherhood in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the important role that the Grand Lodge in BiH has played in building bridges of brotherhood between people and communities. The ritual work demonstrated the growing respect and appreciation of the Grand Lodge in Bosnia and Herzegovina among the Brethren abroad.
In his address, the Grand Master emphasized the importance of continuity, growth and responsibility towards the future, highlighting plans for further expansion, growth and development, through the formation of new Lodges, the construction of Temples and the strengthening of the positive activity of the Brotherhood in bosnian society. Finally, deep gratitude was expressed to all the Brothers and Sisters whose donations, engagement and dedication made it possible for this anniversary of the consecration to take place in a spirit of brotherly love, respect and unity.
